Hello everybody!!
Well its been quite a week for our family, as we have been down in New Mexico...
This is a shot in the airport in Detroit.

Well we got down to Deming... and we spent the first night at this hotel.. it was rather interesting...
As many of you have heard, my grandpa has been diagnosed with cancer, we were down there to be with him and my grandma... I just got word from the nurse that he has less than 24 hours left in this world... So it has been rather hard on our family hearing all that news...

Well we got a call this evening from my Grandpas sister, that he passed away around 9:30 this evening (10-21-06) So we will be out there very soon again for the funeral and all... He left behind a Godly heritage for his Grandsons to follow, and many great memories. I know this journal post is sounding a bit morbid.. so here is something on the funny side ;-)
While we were with him this past week, my mom overheard a phone conversation with my Grandpa and a old friend that he was saying goodbye to. The person that my grandpa was talking to had a wife that was also was diagnosed with cancer, and so my grandpa said that we would be hiding behind the door in heaven to jump out and scare her :-D HAHA only my grandpa would think of that ;-)

Here we are playing a little basket ball with my Grandma..... A few years ago, when she was in High school, the girls basket ball team that she was on was the best in 4 states out west. My Grandpa set up this basket ball hoop at the retierment community that they live at now... and he and my Grandma would shoot baskets together :-) Here she is now!!

Today I went shopping with my mom and Ninos... here are some hot peppers there..
Well thats all for now.. Im sorry Mary that I havnt got any pictures of the people around here... I'll try to get some up for you ;-)
